1.
Steeped into a deep nostalgia Here on my own With words and fields of sentiments I have run through as I’ve grown They’re not my own But they made me And who can tell the difference anymore When my heart it gets to racing In droves, in fleets, in floods I’m humming like the sun These songs are my familiars They ground me to the earth They’re not my own But they made me And who can tell the difference anymore

Someday the waters will run clear Our last scars will have healed Someday there will be no poison Only words to soothe our pain Someday we will broadcast our love To everyone we love Someday we will all think as one Solidarity beyond blood Ripples of a butterfly The vision held inside my dreams won't die

about

We have been playing a game of musical consequences. Using our voice, and one instrument each, we’ve been passing ideas around, putting something of ourselves into each others’ work, singing together. Writing in this way allows us to reach out to one another from our own isolation, and to connect, share and commune with each other in a language that can feel deeper, and more essential than other means of communication available to us now. It extends our worlds outwards and inwards.
